Santa Barbara, CA – March XX, 2010 – Professional Development Partners (PDP), a provider of innovative sales, marketing, service and training programs for technology-focused businesses, today announced the expansion of its channel-enablement program with the addition of David Bright.
Bright comes on board at PDP as a Principal Consultant and will focus on partner enablement programs and service practice development. "I look forward to helping PDP expand its rich portfolio of channel-focused services," Bright said. "I also welcome the opportunity of helping partners grow their businesses while assisting vendors and manufacturers with enhancing their channel programs."

Bright has more than 20 years of experience in the computer industry—including experience in pre-sales, sales and marketing roles as well as technical consulting, design and implementation. He has focused on the development of sales and delivery of solutions to enterprise customers directly as well as through partners in all major industry segments across a multitude of systems, technologies and platforms.
Prior to joining PDP, Bright worked at Microsoft for 12 years in multiple roles including Partner Strategy Consultant and Principal Consultant while focusing on platform optimization, architecture, IT strategy and partner services for Microsoft partners such as Tata Consultancy Services, HP, Unisys and PQ Group.
"David can leverage this extensive background, expertise and knowledge that includes the area of IT partner-enablement," Freeman said. "He can now share that experience to help all of our manufacturers, resellers and channel-based partners increase their sales."
